RAPAPORT... Jewelry maker Champenois & Co. will debut its Champenois for Brilliante® collection for multichannel retailer ShopNBC on October 4. This simulated diamond line will feature a 15-piece collection inspired by Champenois & Co.'s 125-year old design archive, representing a milestone for the jewelry family that began creating luxury pieces in the mid-19th century.
"My father turned off the lights at Champenois & Co. for what he thought would be the last time in 1950," said Ed Champenois, the founder of Champenois & Co. "He'd be thrilled to see the lights -- and cameras -- turn back on to introduce our brand new exclusive collection to ShopNBC viewers this fall."
Exclusive for ShopNBC, Champenois for Brilliante includes white and fancy colored AAA-quality Brilliante® simulated diamonds set in sterling silver. The pieces were developed from sketches of original Champenois jewelry designs, each ring, pendant and bracelet features the same textured details and vintage appearance as the brand's classic jewelry.
Champenois & Co. was founded in 1876 on Maiden Lane in New York City by master jeweler Isaac Champenois and his son Charles.
