From flight attendant to jewelry designer, Sandy Leong has a history of creative endeavors that inform her work. While traveling the world, Leong experimented with photography, drawing, sculpting and painting. Then she discovered the world of jewelry and began a new career. Based in New York City, Leong’s designs are inspired by nature and geometry. Her line, which is made in the U.S., is created from gold with diamond and colored gem accents. In honor of the Dutch Royal family and commemorating the inauguration of King Willem-Alexander on April 30, 2013, Royal Asscher has created the Fancy Royals, a new jewelry collection. Inspired by the royal family, known as the House of Orange, the special three-ring collection showcases orange sapphires and white diamonds in silver, as well as orange and white diamonds set in 18-karat yellow or white gold.
